Don't try going here on your lunch break. The service and kitchen are extremely slow. The food was hot but I had to bring it back to work to eat it.

Nice Applebee's, wasn't packed when we went but the booths are nice and the bar tender took care of us. Good two for one deals during happy hour.

Tldr; the bar, patio, and menu are great. The service sucked. There's a nice side patio that is usable almost year-round here in Florida. Also, the bar area has large, comfortable booths to seat big parties. I really like the menu that this chain of restaurants has. There's a lot to choose from in categories like salads, burgers, pasta, and dinner entree deals, plus a neat lunch menu. We ordered drinks, and several minutes later, the waitress came back and said a drink couldn't be ordered a certain way. A while after that, our drinks finally came and we placed our food order. We didn't see high or low of the wait staff for another 20 minutes when our food came out. At that time, I asked for 2 waters. After a while I thought she forgot about the waters until my companion saw a hostess give them to the wrong table.

This is actually my second time here. Arrived in town around dinner time. This place is close to my hotel. The service is super fast and attentive. My drink special cocktails were actually worth the money. Tried the quesadilla burger and it was a nice surprise. Quite tasty and cooked well done without charring it... Kudos! Even the fries were perfect. Couldn't even order dessert because the entree portions were so large I was stuffed halfway through. I LOVE Applebee's, but this was a bit better than usual. I will definitley be back again. Ask for Bruce when you come. He is an awesome waiter. Friendly and professional.

Our waitress was wonderful and the food was good however we came to this neighborhood "sports" bar to watch the Georgia game. We obviously are from out of town so since the restaurant advertises that they show sports, we decided it would be a perfect place to watch the game. The game was being played on the SEC network and Applebee's has directv so we were able to tell the waitress what channel. She came back to let us know that they didn't get that channel. She also informed us that they don't even have the NFL network. I don't think you can consider yourself a sports bar if you don't have the SEC network or NFL network. Don't come here expecting to catch all big games being played.

If I could give this Applebee's location a 0 I would. I'm a server/bartender and do not complain about service unless it is necessary and let me tell you...!!!! Horrible. Horrible! After waiting 11 min for whip cream on my hot chocolate because we were ignored by our waitress.. we went to the bar and asked for some whip cream on top. Well the bartender takes the hot chocolate. .and keeps going about his business? ??!? After waiting an hour for whip cream and a chicken fajita wrap that was soooo spicy it was unbearable, a manager finally came over (he was supposed to be there 45 min prior) made us feel like we were wrong! "Fair enough, I'll be taking care of your meal" was his answer. Mind you the tables around us have all been dirty for the length of this fiasco, as it's a Wednesday late afternoon not even busy. Terrible service all around- never go here.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!!! Tried this place for the first time today & it was so bad it was hard to eat what I had ordered. My husband and I both ordered burgers, HA! It was burnt cube steak looking CRAP! Waste of money. Service was just as bad. Would have loved a refill and didnt even get everything we were supposed too.

One word......SHOCKING ! I brought my family to Daytona for a nice thanksgiving weekend and chose this Applebee's for our first nights dinner. The service was horrific, we waited 15 minutes before a drink order was taken and the restaurant was probably half full. Appetizers were served with no cutlery and we eventfully ate this with our fingers because we were so hungry. Main course was a disaster with food missing and of course the waitress was nowhere to be seen. No cutlery again with the main course so the kids ate with their fingers again..After losing my cool the manager came and apologized and we were given our meal for free which was some redemption but I will never put foot in that Applebee's again.

I will only give this place one star because they attempt to serve food. I was seated outside during stormy weather without being asked if that would be ok. I'm a non-smoker but inhaled quite a bit of second hand smoke from the chain smokers 2 tables over. I ordered my dinner without complaint until it arrived at my table. The portion size of the jalapeño chicken tenders on the four cheese Mac&cheese was unacceptable for dinner unless you're a small child. I asked the waitress if this was a normal sized order and she said yes it was. She then said she would get me some more chicken tenders. A few minutes later a person named Pat sat down at my table and said she was the manager. Pat gave me a dirty look which I felt was rude. I explained my situation to her. She was very insincere and offered to move me inside and she also said she would bring me some more chicken tenders. I moved to a different table inside and finished my entire dinner. The food quality was poor and the service and management was even poorer. I will never eat in Applebee's again. Pat eventually returned to my table but said she had spoken to the general manager and was told not to give me anymore chicken tenders and also that the general manager was going to be out to talk to me at my table. I was then given my bill. After ten minutes the general manager came out and asked "What's your problem." Before I could answer he told me that was the portion that everyone receives. He could have cared less about how I felt and I was never offered any type of discount or comp. He just left my table. I paid my bill and even tipped the waitress. I have also filled out a consumer complaint agency form against this establishment. I am Very very disappointed with this restaurant. I will also contact their corporate headquarters and report how I was made to feel by the managers.

You know what your getting when you go in since it is a chain. The food is the same as the other locations and the selection changes only for specials. I have been to this location several times when we visit the mall for lunch. My wife likes it. I could pass. The steaks are good but you have to ask for it without butter or oil added. Why this trend to add fat on top of meat I do not know. We usually sit outside on the covered patio. Typically there is a breeze to keep you cool and my wife does not have to freeze inside. The only problem come when someone wants to smoke. Since it is allowed I will not complain to them so I have learned to sit up wind of the patio so that anyone else sitting will be downwind. The portions are OK and the price reasonable. the location at the Mall is convenient for many. BTW - Applebee's is NOT a sports bar. You're better off at Houlagans,
